I’ve always had an interest in people and how their thoughts and feelings affect their every day life. Always being the person my friends would turn to for help, I decided that this would be the path I would later like to call my career.

I started out by going to University to gain a Psychology & Counselling degree and realised that this path wasn’t for me. I dropped out and started my Counselling course at a local college, knowing that this path suited me better. I feel so privileged to be able to be shown a window into another person’s world through their eyes and each client’s story touches me in a different way.

What I offer

I am a Person Centred Counsellor offering one to one sessions in a safe, confidential space. I also offer "you time" where you can explore your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental environment. Within these sessions, I will not tell you what to do, but instead help you to discover the tools to be able to decide what to do yourself, whilst walking by your side and sharing your experience through the way you communicate with me.

Training & Experience

I completed all my formal training at Epping Forest College in Loughton, Essex where I gained my counselling qualification. Although I am fully qualified, I think it is important to continue my professional development through more short courses depending on my interests and my clients. I have attended several of these and intend on continuing to do so, so that I can always be the best counsellor I can be for you. I have been seeing clients for just over a year at The Living Room, a Rehabilitation Centre specialising in addiction and have also just started to see clients at The Women’s Refuge, helping women who have faced abuse to get back on their feet. I enjoy being part of these agencies as well as seeing clients within my private practice.
